This will be a page I will be adding to over time. As there are many good reading lists about, I will endeavour not to repeat what already exists; with the intention of being a useful reference for those interested in or studying design, I will be compiling links to existing lists and recommendations of books that may not be directly on the subject of design but are engaging examples of book design.
In the meantime … David Preston has an excellent reading list, separated into subject and level. A formidable list of good design books is on Alessandro Segalini’s site; particuarly noteable are the sections on Graphic Design and Typography.
